Royce 5’9″ and Eminem have delivered a great rap track with ‘Caterpillar’ which is out now along with a slick music video (watch here).
But the bonus edition of Royce’s new album Book of Ryan also features a remix version of the same song, this time featuring Logic. “He’s spitting that brutal honesty and he spit for like 50-something bars,” Royce commented on Logic’s contribution. “It’s one of those shut-the-internet-down-for-a-couple-of-days verses for sure. I’m proud of him for that one.”
Well, Royce wasn’t lying at all. Although Logic is touching on the “I’m half black, half white” topic again, he absolutely went in on the verse. He shouts out some of his peers who are keeping rap alive. “Shoutout to true emcees who love the culture, from Duckworth to Channo to Joey and can’t forget Bobby, to every emcee who knows that this is truly a way of life and not just a hobby,” spits Logic on the hard instrumental.
