June is turning out to be a heavy release month for Hip-Hop and R&B. We already have albums from Nicki Minaj, Drake, Kanye, Nas and more dropping next month. Now in a new interview, Ty Dolla Sign has announced that his long awaited joint project with Jeremih will also arrive in June.
While talking to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 where he premiered his new banger ‘Clout’ with 21 Savage, Ty revealed that he did about 60 songs with Jeremih in a span of just 8 sessions. 13-14 tracks out of that will be making the cut on the album, whose title was previously announced as MihTy. It was originally set to release in February. Hitmaka will be producing the entire project.
“Next month, I’m dropping a whole other project with my brother, Jeremih. That’s like a full-length album. I’m so excited for that one,” Ty told Zane on a video call. “We did it with my bro, Hitmaka. He produced the whole thing, so it’s like a consistent album of bangers.” Watch the interview below.
