The much awaited J. Cole interview with Angie Martinez shot at Rolling Loud is finally live.
The interview has been hyped for a couple of days on social media and why not — t’s not often that J. Cole does interviews. Fresh off releasing his number 1 album KOD, Cole sat down with the legendary Angie Martinez at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami before his set. The chat took place at Salaam Remi’s house. Jermaine talks about pressures, doing meditation before his shows, Kanye West’s recent thoughts, his social media use, concept behind his new album, reason he created the alter ego kiLL edward, relationship with his step father and much more.
Cole was a little hesitant about talking about Kanye’s recent antics. First off, he said that he wasn’t happy with the way Kanye shared their text on Twitter but revealed that Kanye apologized for it when he communicated it to him. He then called Kanye’s recent support for Trump “dangerous”. “This time he sampled the wrong sh*t,” he continued.
