Swizz Beatz has been in his hardcore music mode for a while now, teasing new music with DMX, battling Just Blaze on the beats and now challenging Timbaland for the same.
A few days ago, the super producer revealed to Zane Lowe on Beats 1 radio that he’s finishing up his new album I’m With The Smoke which will feature some unexpected names on it. Earlier today, he took to his Instagram and previewed a new, yet untitled collaboration with Lil Wayne. “Swizzy on the beat, I’ll beat your a*s like Policia/Tunechi in this b*tch, eyes looking like Konnichiwa,” Wayne can be heard rapping on the track, which also seems to be featuring a sample of his verse on Drake’s ‘Forever.’ He confirmed that it will land on the new album.
In the same post, he also fired a challenge towards Timbaland for a beat battle which has already been confirmed. “We can battle on stage with the hits and new beats plus battle with the Albums and drop them on the same day I’m with all the smoke,” wrote the New York artist.
