Just over two weeks ago (June 20th), fans remembered Prodigy on his first death anniversary. Today, a never heard before song from Mobb Deep has surfaced.
The track is called ‘That’s The Thing’ and according to HardTimes Records who have unveiled it, the song was recorded right after Prodigy was released from prison in first week of March, 2011. Singer Melissa J provides a sweet R&B hook on the mid tempo song which is produced by Havoc.
Posthumous songs often end up sounding off the mark but that’s not the case here. Listen to it below.
