Lil Nas X’s hit song ‘Old Town Road’ has been in the news not only because it’s taking the charts by storm but also sine Billboard took it off their Country charts after determining that it didn’t fit there.
“Upon further review, it was determined that ‘Old Town Road’ by Lil Nas X does not currently merit inclusion on Billboard’s country charts,” Billboad said in a statement. Lil Nas X, the artist who previously became popular on Twitter from running a Nicki Minaj fan account, got support from Country veteran Billy Ray Cyrus.
