Rick Ross, DMX and Swizz Beatz had dropped their song ‘Just in Case’ last month off the Godfather of Harlem soundtrack which is curated by Swizz Beatz.
Today, the trio is returning with the music video for the song where Ross and DMX perform a verse each while Swizz offers a soulful chorus. The cinematic video is set in the 1960s and features a cameo from the show’s star Forest Whitaker. It is directed by DAPS — watch it below.
Godfather of Harlem tells the real life story of infamous crime boss Bumpy Johnson, who in the early 1960s returned from ten years in prison to find the neighborhood he once ruled in shambles. The series kicks off September 29 on Epix. Earlier today, the show runners dropped another new song from the soundtrack, ASAP Ferg and Dave East’s ‘Business is Business‘.
