G-Eazy was set to release his new side project Everything’s Strange Here on June 5th but it was pushed back in wake of the protests following George Floyd’s death.
“8 weeks ago I didn’t know I needed to make this,” he said at the time. “The world has been turned upside down and inside out — but a lot of us have had the opportunity to self reflect and evolve. This project is a representation of where my heart and head have been at. It’s honest and pure — it’s me. Take it or leave it — this is how I feel,” he added, trying to describe the alternative sounding album in the best way possible.
The Bay Area artist has already dropped a few songs off the project along with music videos (the latest being ‘Nostalgia Cycle‘) but today, fans can have the full meal. Do not expect any rapping on this one. Stream it below.
