JAY-Z Makes Statement About The Murder Of George Floyd

Earlier today during a press conference, Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz mentioned that JAY-Z called him on Saturday night to talk about bringing George Floyd’s murderer and enablers of the murder to justice. He said “I received a call last night — to understand how big this was — from Jay-Z. Not international performer but dad stressing to me that justice needs to be served.” You can watch the clip here.

Now, JAY has made a statement of his own via his REFORM Alliance organisation. He acknowledges the conversation and thanks Governor Waltz for allowing Attorney General Keith Ellison to step in, calling on Ellison to do the right thing and prosecute the officers involved.
