H.E.R. has been working on her new album, the followup to the 2019 compilation album I Used to Know Her.
The GRAMMY-winning singer is kickstarting her new era with the song ‘Damage’ today which she originally announced earlier this week. H.E.R showcases her commanding vocals over a radio friendly beat which comes courtesy Cardiak.
“Holdin’ me tight, lovin’ me right, givin’ me life / All night you could be / Tellin’ me lies, makin’ me cry, wastin’ my time,” she sings on the new tune. Listen below. A music video for the single is set to be released on Wednesday morning.
