Lil Baby’s song ‘Emotionally Scarred’ has been one of the surprise hits of this year. It was a “surprise” not because it wasn’t good but because it’s rare for a protest song to do this well on charts, including radio.
Assisted by a lively Rock band and a therapist on stage, the Atlanta star’s performance focused on reflecting on the tough year and the importance of mental health. At the end of the performance, the words “Protect Your Mental Health” appeared on the back screen. Watch him rock it out below.
Lil Baby recently won the “artist of the year” award from Apple Music, capping off a solid year for the young artist.
