When J. Cole was on what is now considered to be his classic feature run, one of the artists that popped up with a collaboration with him was Lil Duke. He previewed their collaboration on social media and it seemed like it was going to appear on his 2019 Blue Devil 2, but it never did.
Despite Cole saying he was done with features after Gang Starr’s ‘Family & Loyalty‘, ironically, Lil Duke drops ‘Loyalty’ which features Cole and Quavo. It makes you think that perhaps it was supposed to stay vaulted. Either way, the Dremaville head honcho takes on hook duty while Duke and Quavo drop a verse each.
