Welcome back to another edition of our Saturday Spotlight series. Each week we review submissions from all over the globe, picking the best out of the batch to highlight at the end of the week. As the summer commences, the soundtrack playlists are only increasing in size. Right now is the time to pop a bottle of Rose, sit back and enjoy an open water breeze.
Whether itâs your latest single or a new beat you made, all upcoming artists can submit music to us for Saturday Spotlight on this link.
Whoodie & Yffdynasty
Outside the steel clashing in Brooklynâs Drill scene, Whoodie and Yffdynasty are turning up in the Bronx. âStacey Dashâ is the latest single from the duo and itâs a breath of fresh air in the city. Yffdynasty maneuvers throughout the track with a hazy melody that could only be enhanced by a smoking âWoods in the ashtray. Whoodie tags into the track like one half of the World’s Greatest Tag Team, instantly gelling with Yffdynasty as soon as she enters the track. These two are dynamic and are exciting in a rapidly evolving climate like NYC. Check out their latest single below:
Alus
Alus is here to provide the soundtrack for your Saturday night out. Her latest single, âWig!â Featuring Cakes Da Killa is 8 PM, on the way to the club with your crew music. Alusâ vocals are enchanting, light, and gentle to seduce, but enough bite to snap your hand back. Over heavy rhythmic bass that could rattle your rib cage, Alus delivers her verses like sheâs holding a seminar; sheâs completely in charge and confidence-filled. Cake provides glam and impressive technique in his guest verse. Check out the latest single below:

Through our artist discovery platform Saturday Spotlight, we have discovered some amazing talent in the past including Russ, Ty Dolla Sign, Mez, IDK, Victoria Monét and Trap Beckham to name just a few. In most cases, coverage on HHNM was their first look among media outlets. Find the submission guidelines here.
