Common returns with new music!
The Chicago rapper drops his latest single ‘Imagine’ featuring PJ, along with a powerful music video. Last we heard from Common was in October, when he released his 9-track project A Beautiful Revolution (Pt. 1). The hip-hop icon shared a clip from his new visual just hours ago.

The meaning behind the track is deep, giving listeners a chance to ‘imagine’ a world where people treat each other with respect and dignity. Common said he wrote the songĀ at a very difficult time. āI wrote āImagineā at a time when we were all going through a lot. But something kept telling me to focus on the good and the things I wanted to see in the world. For me, music is one of the things that gives me hope and happiness throughout these times, whether I am creating it or listening to it.ā
The video, which was shot in Los Angeles, paints that picture where in an ideal world, people can come together and change it for the better.
