Saturday Spotlight continues. Every week the HHNM staff review dozens of submissions submitted by budding artists and producers alike. There’s no discrimination: no popularity contests and complete diversity. At the end of the week, we pick the winners we believe are going to have a promising future.

Kriss Stasse’s world is filled with color and wonder. On his single, “Cocoon” he explores the paths to paradise, filling his verses with soul-screaming Soul. There’s not a drop of aggression in his voice, he’s laid back and chilled out. That doesn’t mean his ability is absent. He makes rap look easy, rapping like it’s effortless as punching numbers. The production provides a dreamy atmosphere that elevates the song’s textures. Check out the track below:
South Florida is pumping out talent like how Griselda pushes out projects. The scene is vibrant and exciting. Up next from Clearwater, Florida is Ggmg Remo. Reno embodies the Dirty South, the music has a rattling bounce, with Remo’s southern accent thicker than cough syrup. On his latest single, “Drip Drip”, his raspy voice belts verses flexing blue Benjamins and toting extended clips. Check the track out below:
Through our artist discovery platform Saturday Spotlight, we have discovered some amazing talent in the past including Russ, Ty Dolla Sign, Mez, IDK, Victoria Monét and Trap Beckham to name just a few.
