Welcome back to another edition of our Saturday Spotlight series. Each week we review submissions from all over the globe, picking the best out of the batch to highlight at the end of the week. As the summer continues, the soundtrack playlists are only increasing in size. Right now is the time to pop a bottle, sit back and enjoy an open water breeze.
Whether it’s your latest single or a new beat you made, all upcoming artists can submit music to us for Saturday Spotlight on this link.
Tripp
First up in the selections for this week is Tripp, a rapper from Buffalo, New York who is looking to make a mark following the success of various other emcees from the town. The versatile rapper, who has previous experience of recording and production in studio, makes the cut with his song ‘Maronnettes’ which is taken from his latest project Million Dollar Addiction. Hear the standout track below.
BFLOW THE SPiTTA
Next up is BFLOW THE SPiTTA, an interesting artist from the South who likes to stay sort of anonymous. His submission was equally intriguing. It said: “an underground phonk trap artist kickin incredibly dope raps over harsh trap beats with flashes of lyrical ability.” The crazy thing is that it describes his sound pretty well. Dive into his song ‘TF YOU GOiN DO??’ below.
