J. Cole is set to head out on the tour for his last album The Off-Season which fans are still saying is not only some of his best work, but some of the best work of the year. Tonight, he surprises fans with a new song.
It’s called ‘Heaven’s EP’ and is over Drake’s ‘Pipe Down’ from Certified Lover Boy, which has proven itself to be a fan favourite on there. On it, he addresses whether being rich has watered him down, being considered third in the race against Drake and Kendrick Lamar, not showing his kids on social media and a whole lot more. There’s a music video that comes along with it too, directed by Simon Chasalow.
Check it out below. On it, he raps “God with me on this record, this is Heaven’s EP”, so maybe that’s something real that we can expect soon.
