Kehlani has been building towards the release of her new album blue water road for the past few months.
Last month, she connected with Justin Bieber on the latest single ‘up at night‘ and then revealed the tracklist featuring 13 songs shortly after. Today, the full album is available for stream across streaming services.
blue water road serves as the follow up to It Was Good Until It Wasn’t, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 and amassed over 1 billion streams.
“blue water road is a destination in my mind” Kehlani explained in a statement about the album. “I’m giving everyone access. It’s an emotional journey, a sexual journey, and a spiritual journey. To me, the album is like a glass house. It’s light, transparent, and the sun is shining right through it.”
