UPDATE (July 4): Breezy has moved 72k copies in the first week to debut at number 4 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Previous story (June 25):
Chris Brown’s BREEZY was the only major album released this year from the world of hip hop and R&B which is always an advantage for any artist.
Today, the first week sales projections for the 23 track album are here. The singer’s 10th studio album is projected to move 60k–70k copies in the first week, according to HDD. This won’t be good enough for a number 1 debut on the Billboard 200 chart as Bad Bunny continues to surge and releases from Lil Durk and Luke Combs are in the same ballpark.
Chris’ latest effort features guest appearances from Fivio Foreign, H.E.R., Lil Wayne, Jack Harlow, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Bryson Tiller and more. The star’s last album Indigo sold 108k in the first week to debut at number 1.
