UPDATE: The final numbers are in. Posty sold 125,157 copies of twelve carat toothache first week, putting him at #2 on the charts this week behind Bad Bunny who sold around 13k more copies of his album.
Previous story:
Post Malone released his latest album Twelve Carat Toothache this past Friday and even though the reception has been pretty positive, it’s been a quieter than usual release in terms of promotion.
The 14 song album features guest appearances from Doja Cat, The Weeknd, The Kid Laroi, Gunna and more, and arrives after what the artist calls a writer’s bock. Today, we have the first week sales projections for the Republic Records set. Twelve Carat Toothache is set to move 115-130k copies in the first week which could earn it a number 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart.
Post Malone album releases are usually an event but things seem much quieter this time. Let's see how the album sounds like

It’s a “could” because HDD reports that there’s a possibility Bad Bunny challenges it with his chart topping album Un Verano Sin Ti. Posty’s total also means this will mark his lowest opening week since the debut album Stoney. His last LP Hollywood’s Bleeding moved 489k copies in the first week with about 200k out of that coming from pure sales.
