Robert Glasper has unveiled a new single with Mac Miller today called ‘Therapy Pt. 2’.
The song is taken off 4x Grammy and Emmy winning artist’s forthcoming album Black Radio III: Supreme Edition, an extended digital version of his 2022 album Black Radio III. The original album already features artists such as Q-Tip, PJ Morton, Estelle, India Arie, Luke James, Bilal, BJ The Chicago Kid, and more.
“I was working with my friend. We were just finishing up this specific beat. I immediately sent it to him, and literally within an hour he sent me back that track. Everything was on there—both verses the choruses—and you could tell it was not something that he had written before. He sang the chord changes. You can tell he really came up with that in the moment,” said Robert about his new song with Mac, a leaked/unfinished version of which has been out before.
Added Mac Miller’s estate, “we’re honored to support in sharing this beautiful song that Malcolm and Robert Glasper created together. The song is a reflection of the special friendship and musical gifts the two shared.”
