Post Malone surprised fans when he announced earlier this week that he will be releasing a new song called ‘Chemical’ on Friday.
The superstar singer had not previewed any music in recent times or dropped any hint that he was releasing something new soon. But his fans are not complaining. This time around, he ditches his hip hop influences and goes for a pop-rock sound which is something he has always enjoyed doing.
‘Chemical’ marks the singer’s first new single since his Twelve Carat Toothache album in June last year which moved a subtle 125k copies in the first week. Shortly after the release of his album, Posty had revealed the birth of his daughter and his engagement (to a woman who remains publicly unknown).
