Lil Wayne & 2 Chainz dropped their latest album Welcome 2 Collegrove last Friday to a pretty positive response.
The album features guest appearances from 21 Savage, Fabolous, Rick Ross, Usher, Benny The Butcher and more. Today we have the information about what it sold in the first week. Welcome 2 Collegrove moved 34k copies in the first week to debut at #20 on the Billboard 200.
Another album that debuted on the same day was Andre 3000’s much talked about New Blue Sun which is full of sounds centered around flute played by the iconic artist. Of course, many fans were disappointed that we didn’t hear any raps on it. It did 24k in the first week to debut at #34 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Drake on the other hand has returned to the #1 spot with help of the extra 6 songs attached to For All The Dogs as part of the Scary Hours 3 edition.
