Almost exactly a year ago to the day, a story hit the internet about Ludacris’ longtime manager Chaka Zulu being wanted on murder charges. It was a shock to everyone that read it. Now, there’s been a massive update in the case.
Michael Seiden of WSBTV reports that the charges against Chaka Zulu have been dropped by prosecutors in Fulton County after it was determined that he acted in self-defense when he shot and killed 23-year-old Artez Benton outside a restaurant in Buckhead. A video that was released in September showed that two men attacked Zulu before he pulled out a gun and opened fire.

I just got off the phone w/ the Benton’s attorney, Theresa Seals, and she told me that the family does not feel like justice was on their side.
