Latto, who was the center of some controversy with her contemporary Ice Spice not long ago, is back with a new baddie-bop titled, ‘Big Mama‘. The track, which features trap based production, is a sensual pop-rap hit that sees Latto talking about getting in all sorts of feelings upon being called Big Mama by her significant other.

The music video is shot and edited in a vlog format, featuring Latto in friends (quite literally) shaking it up and having a good time. From hopping in and out of hotel rooms and cars to taking shots on a yacht and twerking, asking what her love interest is going to do for her birthday, Latto seems to be having the time of her life with this one.
Unexpectedly, however, the beat switches at about the 2-minute mark, with production that is reminiscent of hard Drake beats. This is where things really pick up as Latto gets into her rapper bag, foraying away from the melodic raps to a bold, more aggressive delivery. The video ends with a promo slide on Sugar Honey Ice Tea, alluding to her upcoming LP. Check the video out here!
