The trailer for the upcoming Lego themed biopic for Pharrell Williams has been released today.
Piece By Piece is set to premiere on October 11, and tells the story of the successful musician’s life growing up and discovering his love for music, leading to his iconic musical career as a producer, singer and rapper.
Pharrell will voice himself alongside several other people in the music industry set to play themselves, including Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg and Jay-Z, as well as pop artists Gwen Stefani and Justin Timberlake.
“You know what what would be cool is if we told my story with Lego pieces,” Lego Pharrell tells the similarly-bricked director Morgan Neville (the Oscar-winning documentarian behind “20 Feet From Stardom”), who chuckles politely and asks, “Seriously?” Pharrell replies: “Just be open.”
The film is set to feature 2 new songs from the superstar as well. Watch the exciting trailer below.
