As fans were coming around to slowly ingest what Kanye dropped with NBA YoungBoy, new controversy has come in fresh. Playboi Carti has come out lashing at Kanye West for stealing his song, which Kanye released on his Instagram with NBA YoungBoy.
The track was called ‘Alive,’ and now Playboi Carti has released his own version on IG (supposedly called ‘Dis Shit Easy’). Carti put the track out from a different handle than his official artist page on IG, captioning the video with a message to Kanye: “Dis my song lil bra @ye.” Not sure how Kanye is going to take to being called lil bro by Carti, especially during what seems to already be a disturbed time for Ye.

Regardless, fans had fun with the release. Someone even commented as to how Ye really rage-baited Carti to drop a banger he’d been hiding. Others were just excited to incite more reactions considering Carti’s message to Ye was valid and disrespectful at the same time.
In the middle of an exceptional beef between Joey and the West Coast, does this small rift have the potential of turning into words being exchanged on record? Unlikely, but never completely out of the question when it’s Kanye in consideration. What do you think?
