Ray Vaughn wasted no time jumping back into action after hearing his name again on Joey Bada$$‘ latest diss, ‘MY TOWN.’ While there was only a brief mention of Ray on this one (considering Joey was thorough in ‘The Finals‘), Joey really undermined Ray and AzChike’s position in the beef. Well, not on Ray Vaughn’s watch.
Maybe just a couple hours after the release of Joey’s ‘MY TOWN,’ Ray Vaughn has released a reply by the name of ‘Golden Eye.’ The title of the track is possibly a nod to the Pierce Brosnan starrer James Bond movie that went by the same name. Sure enough, Ray kept that Bond demeanour as he went ahead addressing most of what Joey said including the TDEast dig. Have a look at this scathing shot:
“Look, CJ got no hit, Kirk got no hit
You ain’t got no hit so pro error don’t exist
TDE East, n***a ain’t that by the bitch
You got a label full of artists, every blog post skip”
But this isn’t all. He brushed off the claim that Joey gave Ray a hit moment and instead argued saying, “Broken fry just a old ass niggas get mad at the up and coming, I revived your rap career I’m like Joey Buzzin’.” I mean, he isn’t entirely wrong considering Ray really is the one that got Joey rapping like his rent is due again. But then again, maybe it’s Dot that lit the flame with his own beef and victory. What do you think? Check out the track below:
