JID put out a phenomenal album this year. Without any doubt, God Does Like Ugly is a testament to JID’s versatility as a lyricist and vocalist; but now, JID is bringing forth that excellence with his visuals as well.
The Atlanta rapper just released the official music video for the song ‘Sk8,’ which features long-term collaborators Earthgang, as well as the legendary Ciara. Most of the video has been filmed in a parking lot setting, with drifting cars that are edited creatively with saturation filters and the like.
Some of it also boasts fresh visuals from skate rentals flashy clothes to make it a cohesive package for a fun song that JID refers to as a “freaky ass song,” with a “freaky ass beat”. Check it out below!
