E-40 is prepping the release of his new double albums The D-Boy Diary Books 1 & 2 which will hit stores November 18th. Today, he comes through with a brand new single and video, ‘Savage’ featuring Jazze Pha and B-Legit. It’s definitely catchy and has a rare appearance from the one and only Jazze Pha who’s been missing in action for some time. Says 40 about the song:
“The first time the word Savage was ever said in the way we are saying it now that I recall, was 1989 in a song by E-40 called Mr. Flamboyant. I said, Become a SAVAGE/ get swole boat ones/ 20-inch arms establish one-hitter quitters/ the whole get down/ now run up on me now. I keep it original and relevant mane.”
