Diddy has been teasing a documentary about Bad Boy for a while now. Tonight, he makes the formal announcement about it. Titled Can’t Stop, Won’t Stop: The Bad Boy Story, the film is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival in April this year.
“I am blessed to be introducing our film at the Tribeca Film Festival. Tribeca brings the biggest names in entertainment and culture together with visionaries from across industries to celebrate the power of storytelling. There is no better place to share the story behind the Bad Boy movement and this unprecedented musical event,” says Puff “Diddy” Combs.
Produced by Live Nation and directed by Daniel Kaufman, the film will give fans a behind the scenes look at the history and legacy of Bad Boy Entertainment. It will be set against background of the Bad Boy label’s 20th anniversary tour last year and trace the company’s rise in Harlem and Brooklyn. It will also explore the tragic killing of the Notorious B.I.G, and Bad Boy’s influence in reshaping music, fashion, marketing and culture during its peak.
