Two days ago, Black Thought appeared on Funk Flex’s freestyle series where he rapped for straight 10 minutes. It was amazing to say the least but not really surprising to us as we definitely know what he’s capable of. A lot of new listeners were certainly taken off guard by it, however.
Last night, Thought, whose real name is Tariq Luqmaan Trotter appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon like almost every other day but this time he was being interviewed by Fallon about his epic freestyle. He talked about widespread praise from the public for it, how he originally met Questlove before forming The Roots band and then ended it with a short freestyle. Watch it below.
