Kendrick Lamar, Logic, Cardi B, Bruno Mars, SZA & More Announced As Performers for 2018 GRAMMYs

UPDATE: GRAMMYs has issued an update today to announce that Kendrick Lamar, Sam Smith and U2 will also perform at the event. In addition, previous GRAMMY nominee Miley Cyrus will take the stage with five-time GRAMMY winner Elton John to perform one of John’s classic hits.

Previous Story (Jan. 10):

The 2018 GRAMMYs are set to be dominated by Hip-Hop and R&B. With the nominations being very Black Music heavy already, the Recording Academy is making sure they keep the live performances consistent with the theme as well.

Today, GRAMMYs have announce the second batch of performers at the event — Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee; current GRAMMY nominee Kesha; GRAMMY winner and current nominee Bruno Mars with current nominee Cardi B; current nominee SZA; and first-time GRAMMY nominees Alessia Cara, Khalid, and Logic. The ‘1-800-273-8255’ hitmakers will take the stage with a group of suicide attempt and loss survivors selected by the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Bruno Mars and Cardi B are likely to perform their latest collaboration ‘Finesse‘ live for the first time.

Last week, the Academy had announced Childish Gambino, Lady Gaga, Little Big Town, Patti LuPone, P!nk, and Ben Platt as the first list of performers at the 60th annual ceremony which takes place live from New York City on Sunday, January 28th.
