THEMXXNLIGHT made a big splash when they appeared on as many as three songs off Wiz Khalifa’s latest album Rolling Papers 2. According to many fans, those three tracks — ‘Mr. Williams’, ‘All of A Sudden’ and ‘Homework’ are some of the standouts on the set.
The R&B duo who are twin identical brothers of Indian origin, are prepping the release of their new project titled MOOD and today, they are offering a brand new single called ‘Hold Up’ which is produced by Taylor Gang’s own Sledgren. The infectious melody is reminiscent of The Weeknd’s early work which is not surprising as the two cite the Toronto superstar as one of their influences.
“We’re obviously trying to get some big features on our album. We have 20 songs done for our album which are produced by Taylor Gang. We might have Wiz on a song which would probably be the biggest one so far,” THEMXXNLIGHT told HHNM two weeks ago. Hear ‘Hold Up’ below via Soundcloud or on your preferred streaming service here.
