Post Malone has often said how big of a gaming fan he is, especially of Call of Duty. Now he is making the first business move to take his passion to the next level.
Post Malone has partnered with HyperX, the gaming division of Kingston Technology Company, Inc. As part of the deal, he will represent HyperX headsets (he’s wearing the new Mix Cloud model in the photo) while streaming his favorite games like Call of Duty and be featured in HyperX marketing campaigns in 2019. Post is the first musician to join HyperX’s roster which already includes talented athletes like De’Aaron Fox, Sacramento Kings, Gordon Hayward, Boston Celtics and Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers.
In addition to the above partnership, HyperX is also set to sponsor Post Malone’s first-ever festival “Posty Fest” in Dallas on Oct. 28 along with other friends like Tyler, the Creator and Travis Scott. “HyperX is an innovative gaming company that shares my passion about gaming and its community,” said Post Malone. “I am honored to be the first musical artist to join the HyperX ambassador family and look forward to the collaborative projects ahead.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome Post Malone to the HyperX family,” said Daniel Kelley, HyperX director of corporate marketing. “As HyperX’s first sponsored musician, we’re confident Post’s talent, style, and incredible passion for gaming will play an essential part in our ongoing brand story.”
