JAY-Z Announces ‘B-Sides 2’ Show to Re-Open Webster Hall

Webster Hall, the iconic Manhattan venue, closed in 2017 for renovation but the reopening has been announced in a special way. None other than JAY-Z will play the venue for the first time on April 26th, opening night, with a second edition of his ‘B-Sides’ show from 2015.

The concept of the show is that there are no big singles performed, just the deeper cuts that longtime Hov fans will appreciate. Last time, it was incredible. He brought out Jay Electronica, State Property and Jeezy. You can watch the show here and check out our review of it here.

“In renovating one of New York’s most historic and iconic venues, our goals were simple and straightforward; maintain the integrity of the space, modernize it to create an incredible concert experience for fans and performers, and book a dynamic mix of artists in music today,” said Jay Marciano, Chairman and CEO, AEG Presents in the statement. “Today’s announcement of JAY-Z to open Webster Hall, along with an eclectic line-up of artists throughout its opening month, achieves all of those goals positioning the venue to continue its success for decades to come.”

Tickets will be available here on Friday at 11AM EST (Thursday at 10AM EST if you’re an Amex Card Member). If you’re unable to snag a pair, TIDAL will also be streaming the event live for fans worldwide.
