Lil Wayne was supposed to perform at the Rolling Loud festival in Miami on Saturday night but he canceled the show just an hour or two to go.
Wayne canceled his performance after refusing to be checked by security at the festival. Wayne was set to take the headlining slot on the Audiomack Stage at 10:55 p.m. local time. “To all my fans who came to see me at Rolling Loud” Wayne wrote on Twitter, “I’m sorry but I won’t be performing. The Festival Police (Not Rolling Loud) made it mandatory that I had to be policed and checked to get on the stadium grounds. I do not and will not ever settle for being policed to do my job and give you guys a great show. I will be at Story tonight for the afterparty and you kan katch me on tour with my bros Blink 182 this summer!”

The festival has been in news this weekend. on Friday night, there were false reports of an active shooter on the festival grounds which caused a stampede. Some concertgoers sustained minor injuries as a result. Earlier today, Kodak Black was arrested before his Rolling Loud set on weapons charges.
