As it’s already clear, Justin Timberlake is back in the studio working on new music. Some of the work is already out — he joined forces with Meek Mill on the woke ‘Believe‘, and put out the TROLLS: World Tour soundtrack which includes new collaborations with Anderson .Paak among others.
In an interview with Zane Lowe, JT teased that he may have a joint album with Anderson on the way. “I hope he doesn’t mind that I’m gonna say this right now, but we talked about a possible joint project,” he said while praising the rapper-singer-producer. Now in an extended clip, the superstar reveals that he’s been in the studio with Haitian-Canadian DJ & producer KAYTRANADA in addition to Timbaland, Danja, Rob Knox and Hit-Boy.
“He gave me some good stuff. I’m still working on it, but I’m in with Danja and Rob Knox. We found a real vibe,” the singer said. “I was in with Hit-Boy the other day,” he said about working with the multi platinum and GRAMMY winning producer. “No, it’s first time. We’re going to go back in soon,” he continued.
To end the conversation, Justin said that he’s in a creative zone right now where he wants to just work with different musicians. “Honestly, I’m telling you, I’m in the zone where I just want to work. If you’re out there and you want to work, I’m available.”
