For experimental new age rappers the likes of Lil Yachty, SoundCloud will always represent the birthplace of new music discovery. The rapper has continued the tradition of putting some of his most unconventional music on the platform with his latest release.
In what seems to be an addition to his mixtape (that is a mixed bag of old and new songs alike), Yachty has put out 9 songs on SoundCloud under the artist alias The Concrete Leak System.
Previously, in 2024, Yachty had also released 14 songs (out of which many had been already leaked online) under the title Concrete Boy Boat that featured other acclaimed artists like Vory and 21 Savage. The songs released seem to pick off from where he last left off.
It must be noted that the artwork remains the same for both the 2024 release on SoundCloud as well as the present mixtape, with an illustration of Yachty fixing a leak — quite symbolic! Anyway, here’s the new music he dropped for your listening pleasure. What do you think?
