Detroit’s very own, mega producer and Eminem’s right hand man Denaun has joined forces with Compton legend Dem Jointz, as well as Focus… (they call themselves Read The PDF) to deliver a hard hitting new album project. The album is called Listen, It’s Too Late. The Jig Is Up, and features 12 tracks of conceptual mayhem.
In fact, the tracks are named after the album title in a sequential order starting with ‘Listen,’ which opens up with a skit transitioning into musical sections. The second track is called ‘It’s Too Late,’ which then transitions into ‘The Jig Is Up,’ completing the album name.
But then, you’re hit with a version of Listen by each artist separately — a version by Focus, followed by Dem Jointz and then Denaun. These make up three separate tracks. The pattern follows again for three versions of ‘It’s Too Late,’ and ‘The Jig Is Up,’ creating a concept piece true fans of hip hop may find truly interesting.
