[Saturday Spotlight] Malik Ferraud + Myke Bogan

No better way to cap off a big week of new music than with our Saturday Spotlight series. You may be still going through Cruel Summer, scratching your head over Roscoe Dash, or enjoying Jeezy’s latest G-Mix, but you need to pause all that and check out what we have for you today.

This week we had the usual large amount of submissions to go through and really want to thank all those who continue to send us their material, as we know that the drive of the young artists out there keeps this series relevant. We had a tough decision to make this week and ultimately came through with two great submissions, Malik Ferraud and Myke Bogan. We also have bonus from a previous Saturday Spotlight feature. Malik Ferraud

Maryland rapper Malik Ferraud literally goes around the world in his new video off the mixtape DAMN. The track was produced by Black Diamond. The song is obviously easy on the ears but it’s the visual that stands apart from everything out there. The cinematography is  something you don’t want to miss.

Myke Bogan

The upcoming Portland artist Myke Bogan delivers some harsh bars on ‘Enemy Anthem, a track off his recently released mixtape So Long, South Dakota. His lyrical ability and flow impressed us.

Previous Saturday Spotlight featured artist TwoLetterz brings us the new video for his second single off the upcoming mixtape Chasing Dead People Vol. 3. No release date yet for the tape but stay tuned for more.
