Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter IV’ Breaks iTunes First Week Record In Four Days
September 2nd, 2011 by Navjosh

Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV hasn’t received many positive reviews but that isn’t keeping fans from the buying their favorite artist’s latest CD. The album today broke the iTunes record for the most units sold in first week. The album has already moved more than 300,000 digital copies in only 4 days at sale. This breaks the earlier record set by The Throne just a couple of weeks back.
Overall, the LP is set to move 925-975k in the opening week.

maannn WOW.
what the fuck son! who in the fuck is buying these albums?????????????????????
STILL TRASH
I bought 3 copies…honestly I don’t give a fuck about reviews and I don’t give a fuck about sales (even though his numbers are tough to ignore) I just LOVE the album. People said they wanted the “mixtape Weezy” and C4 is a mixtape on steroids plus some. He knew what the fans wanted and the fans have showed their appreciation.
MIXTAPE WEEZEY AINT SHYT. THE ONLY SONG ON THE WHOLE ALBUM I LIKE IS UP UP AND AWAY. THE REST IS JUST BUBBLE GUM AND WHO THE HELL IS BUYING THIS SHYT. HE CANT BREAKE THE THRONES RECORD FOR ITUNES, AND HE MIGHT EVEN OUTSELL THEM BECAUSE OF HIS IGNORANT FANS BUT, THE SHYT IS SO FORGETTABLE, ITS NOT A COMPLETE ALBUM ITS COMPARABLE TO HIS LAST EFFORT I AM NOT A HUMAN BEING, ITS WACK.
What the hell…….I’ll be shocked if this continues to sell consistently after this week. Id attribute a a huge bulk of the sales to birdman buying thousands of copies and the expansion of wayne’s hip-hop empire through Drake and Nicki Minaj who have become huge stars in their own right and never fail to hype up Lil Wayne every chance they get. The album is so bad though..
Ignorant fans?? I’m a huge Wayne fan and I had the most intelligent comment in this discussion. Go put on your Wake Flocka playlist and get another D- on a math test.
