Ryan Leslie is obviously not very pleased with the Jury’s verdict that he has to pay $1 million that he promised to the German man who recovered his laptop — but with all music gone.

Last night at the Long Island University homecoming concert, R Les reacted to the verdict on stage and got teary while explaining how he spent all his money to re-create the music for his latest & underrated album Les Is More, which is in stores now.

“And yesterday (and the reason why I’m on the front page of the news today) everyone thought I was just a cheapskate or something like that – a jury of my peers, 8 people, they looked me in my face and told me I had to pay this man $1MM for music I never got back.”
