G-Eazy has been working on his third album The Beautiful & The Damned which is due to release later this year. His new single ‘No Limit‘ featuring ASAP Rocky and Cardi B is one of the fastest rising songs on radio right now, just on the verse of truly blowing up.
The Bay Area rapper is on a brief promo run for the single and the upcoming album. He stopped by the Angie Martinez show a few days ago where he talked about the album, collaborations on the project, what it means to have a relationship with Bay Area legend E-40, appreciation for Cardi B, how he connected with ASAP Rocky, relationship with Halsey and more.
Eazy revealed (at the 21 min. mark) that The Beautiful & The Damned will be a double album containing 20 songs. This follows the new trend of younger artists putting out double discs — Chris Brown and Big K.R.I.T. were the recent ones to announce similar plans. He also teased collaborations with Kehlani and E-40 on the album, among others. The rapper has shot a short film in support of the album exploring the crazy lifestyle of a “rockstar”.
