It looks like Cardi B is planning a whole takeover come 2018. The rapper, who released her much awaited new single ‘Bartier Cardi‘ on Friday, is reportedly featured on the remix to Bruno Mars’ song ‘Finesse’ which is set to come out very soon.
The strong rumor has surfaced after an assistant to the sound manager for the song’s video shoot posted a snapshot of her Non Disclosure Agreement on Instagram (post has now been taken down) with a long caption. “My star struck a*s helped the sound manager record a video for Bruno Mars and Cardi, all night!” she excitedly wrote, hinting that Bruno Mars and Cardi B have already shot the music video. She mentions “finesse” as one of the hashtags.
Billboard’s associate director of charts/radio, Gary Trust had revealed last week on Twitter that Bruno is set to release new music on January 4th, which fans are presuming will be a re-issue of his double platinum, GRAMMY nominated album 24k Magic. So could the ‘Finesse’ remix featuring Cardi B be that release?
We already know from Bruno Mars’ tweet and Cardi’s response back in August that the two are fans of each other. We’d have to wait and see how this develops. Stay tuned. Two days ago it was revealed that Jennifer Lopez and Cardi B are set to collaborate on a song.
