By now, it’s clear that DeJ Loaf hasn’t achieved the success most fans expected and we can’t tell who we can blame for that.
The Detroit rapper-singer is back today with a brand new single called ‘Liberated’ where she combines forces with Texas-based Soul singer Leon Bridges. “People get liberated, Get up on your feet, if you got the feeling,” the two croon on the feel good bop about being free, without sounding too Pop so we won’t be surprised if it smashes on the charts.
This is DeJ Loaf’s first new single in 6 months, the last one being ‘Big Ole Boss‘ that came out in December last year. Liberated is also the name of her long delayed debut album which will hopefully come out later this year.
