Los Angeles based DJ K-Sly and the Drop Squad have joined forces for a unique remix project of music from the legendary southern duo, Outkast.
The album, titled The Outkasts, includes vocals from the ATL duo, consisting of Big Boi and Andre 3000 over new production inspired by other musical greats.
We envisioned using Outkast vocals while, either sampling, looping, or creating a whole new beat; all inspired by legendary music from musicians such as Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, The Eagles and more.
