We were lucky enough to score some time to sit down with the Detroit playa Big Sean last night after his show at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ. The young, G.O.O.D. Music artist discussed with us his upcoming sophomore album Hall Of Fame. He wouldn’t tell us the title of the first single but for the first time explained the sound and revealed that it’s jointly produced by No I.D. and Key Wane.
Sean Don also told us an interesting background story on how the original ’24k of Gold’ beat was produced by Hit-Boy and it was none other than the ‘Right Here‘ track by Justin Bieber and Drake. Another fact that he shared — ‘Clique’ was supposed to be the first single from Hall of Fame. We all know what happened after that.
Big Sean then discussed the production on the album which will be majorly handled by Key Wane, No. I.D. and Kanye West. Some of the features he told us off air are Kanye, Nas and Jhene Aiko. There’s also a ‘Mula’ remix on the way along with videos for both that and the original.
Right at the end, a hint at an Eminem collaboration!
