Tonight (January 8) ended up being a big night for Childish Gambino who won a Golden Globe award for Best Comedy for his TV series Atlanta. He produced as well as starred in the hit show.
During his acceptance speech, Donald Glover, who is coming off a critically acclaimed album in Awaken, My Love!, thanked the city and people of Atlanta for making his show what it is. Then out of nowhere, he proceeded to thank Migos for making ‘Bad & Boujee’.
“I really want to thank the Migos, not for being in the show but for making ‘Bad and Boujee’. Like that’s the best song ever,” said the rapper/actor/singer, earning an applause from the people at the venue.
We don’t blame you Donald, we all love ‘Bad & Boujee‘! Watch his acceptance speech below.
