T.I. released his conscious album Us or Else: Letter To The System in December to critical acclaim. Since then, a lot of has happened in America — the biggest development being Trump’s election to the President office.
Tip made an appearance on The Breakfast Club this morning to chat with Charlamagne Tha God, Angela Yee and DJ Envy. He speaks on making conscious music, criticizing Lil Wayne over his Black Lives Matter comments, Iggy Azalea (he says she’s still signed to him but he doesn’t get involved in her plans), possibility of another season of The Family Hustle show, plans for his next album and more.
Tip reveals that he has three albums planned right now with Kill The King being the title of the last album. It will the final album of his career says Tip. The first one (we presume it’s The Dime Trap) will be trap-influenced while the second will be “love from the perspective of a dope boy.” He begins talking about the albums at the 30 minute mark.
